(Re)View From the Opposition - Norwich
Youth Reporter 11:02 Mon Sep 28
We all have our opinions on how the game went on Saturday. Some think 2 points dropped as worrying home form continues, other think with the last minute equaliser it was a point gained and sitting in 3rd position in the table the future is looking good.

Before the match we got the thoughts of Norwich supporter Matthew Rushbrooke and so to get the views of the match from a Canaries point of view we got back in touch for some follow-up questions:

Firstly, you've read the response to your 'View From' article, would you like to respond to any of the comments?

- Not really much banter there to reply to!

2-2 a fair result or not?

- Still can't decide to be honest. Before the game if I was offered a point I'd have snapped your hand off, but when you come so close to getting 3 points away from home in the Premier League only to be denied by a last gasp mistake by our keeper, naturally you feel hard done by. On another day it could have been 6-6 but both keepers were in great form. I'm sure by their nature WHU fans will claim they should have won but I really don't think that's the case whatsoever.

Pick a man of the match for both teams?

- Definitely Adrian for WHU. Though fans need to stop claiming that face-stop from Jerome's shot as an "amazing save", it hit him! MOTM for Norwich was probably Jonny Howson. Controlled the midfield, could have scored and saved a pigeon.

Your last visit to The Boleyn, what were your thoughts on the match day experience?

- Let's just say I'll be looking forward to our first trip to the Olympic Stadium. As away days go, from the ground to the pubs nearby, it's a very tired and worn experience.

What did you think of the atmosphere?

- It surprised me how the home crowd responded when we went 1-0 up, instantly got edgy and I thought we were really careless not to take advantage of that as we spurned a couple of great chances to make it 2-0. I expected a rousing atmosphere to inspire your players but that never really happened until you made it 1-1.

After seeing the game in the flesh, where do you think both teams will finish the season?

- If WHU continue to drop points at home to the likes of little Norwich, they certainly won't finish in the top 8. I don't think either teams will tear up trees this season but we're certainly not going down either.

And finally, you brought a decent crowd with you. Did you all get in on the same family ticket?

- Yawn.

Our thanks to Matthew for answering both the 'View from' and the '(Re)View from' questions.

I don't think anyone on here said afterwards said we 'should have won' given how the game panned out.

Adrian made his face save and tipped one over the bar in the second half. Ruddy made a couple of excellent saves from Sahko and a good low one from Payet so its a bit rich to nominate Adrian as MOTM to imply domination.

A draw was a fair result.

Reckon he was right about the original thread

getting a late equaliser makes you feel happier than conceding a late equaliser even though result is the same - but 2-2 was fair I reckon.

I'd probably agree Re Adrian although would say Hot Lips for them.

He can fuck off about Match Day experience. it's called character. I love the grubbiness of the area, it adds to the experience in my view.

Agree with him re Atmosphere. Started ok, goal went in and it was edgey with moans and groans at every single mistake made. Then got better as we equalised.

He's right we need to improve on home form if we're gonna finish top 8 and they are a good 'little' team who won't go down if they continue to play like that.

And he wasn't yawning - he was opening wide for his dads cock

He has no problem with the space bar. I wonder which finger he uses, seeing as he obviously has no thumbs.

Wes HOOLIHAN was their best player, by a mile.

I'd love him at West Ham.

Yeah Hoolahan ran the show, he made Noble look like a Conference player.

2-2 probably fair, but if anyone deserved to win it was them. Frustratingly it felt as if we had hardly any of the ball again.

Re: (Re)View From the Opposition - Norwich
Was Adrian looking at the ball?

Yes

Was Adrians head meant to be on top of his shoulders?

Yes

Did the striker have all the goal to aim and the ball go in?

No

Therefore it was a fucking good save whether it was with his head or his hand.

I remember Shay Given making a save with his head once against Man U. That was a save to.

6 fingered knuckle dragging interbred canary cunt!!

Your archetypal fan of a smug little club that is enjoying temporary good form. I look forward to their inevitable relegation, if not this season, next.

Fucking cup final for them that game.

Cuntish sentence from an absolute cunt.

We worked for both our goals whereas we gifted them one of theirs. Having said that a draw was a fair result. Just think how we've improved at home though, unbeaten in our last two games.
